With a background in both art and drama, I have been telling stories all my life.
Having worked within museum education for the past 2o years, I have specialised in using storytelling to entertain and educate; making objects and long-lost tales come to life. Using song, nursery rhymes, puppets and movement in my performances, I work with both adult and family audiences on a regular basis
I am familiar with the Curriculum for Excellence and able to adapt storytelling sessions and workshops for diverse audiences including ASN & EAL/ESOL learners and those with dementia and Alzheimer's.
I work in both German and English and am a directory storyteller of the Scottish Storytelling Forum.
I regularly develop and deliver events and training sessions both at home and abroad; in the past I have worked for organisations such as The Scottish National Galleries, Glasgow Museums, Palace of Holyrood House, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, The Childrens Wood, Lambhill Stables, Empower Women for Change, Abu Dhabi Science Festival and Manitoba Museum.
